My Background

My name is Christen Whyte. I am a freelance artist from New Jersey. I have been drawing for close to most of my life, predominately self-taught with some forms of formal artistic education. I have done work from simple illustration and commission requests to illustrating entire comics and books.

I have dabbled in many different mediums throughout my life. Ranging from charcoal, ink, colored pencils, markers and paint. But I hold a strong emphasis in hand drawn illustrations digital art.

My Inspiration

As a kid, I’ve always viewed the ability to bring whatever you can envision from your mind into the real world to be a sort of superpower. To allow others to experience something as intimate as your own imagination. For me, art has been the embodiment of that power and it gives me purpose in letting others experience my imagination and helping others bring forth theirs.
